Day 7 of 29 Days: Dino "24/7" (1989)
24/7 (Island, 1989)
Dino Esposito, better known as R&B singer Dino, hit it big with “24/7,” a soulful love song that became a favorite among many. The former DJ also had another popular tune called “I Like It,” but it was the former that probably landed the album on the Billboard 200 charts that same year. I became a fan partly because he was connected to New Kids On The Block, but also because my favorite radio station Houston’s KMJQ Majic 102 use to play “24/7″ like all the time. Making me a fan whether I wanted to or not!
